I am originally from sweden.
When i first came to leros 41 years ago it was love at first sight.
The nature, the people, i felt like i was coming home. But it was not until many years later i could make leros my home.
I bought a neo-classical mansion and renovated the house respecting the tradition of the original style, creating a large studio overlooking the Aegean sea.
With a background in textile design, I studied sewing and textile printing. I started to look at other 3d art forms and took a class in working with silver clay, which really excited me. But as I progressed I realised that I missed working with colours. So when I found glass fusing I was hooked. I have always loved to work with my hands, crocheting, knitting and sewing are all great passions of mine. I make all my own jewellery, screen printed clothes, bags and glassware.
